Hazelpaw was sitting across from a small stream in the forest. Her eyes were looking down at her reflection, as her thoughts raced through her mind. She let out a sigh, when behind her a soft, familiar voice came.
"I thought you might be out here." It was her mother, Dovewing, was standing there smiling at her.
"Mother, what do you want?" She asked her mother, her eyes heavy with a tired expression.
"I came looking for you." Dovewing told her as she approached, sitting down next to her.
"I-I just wanted time alone," Hazelpaw said as her gaze returned to the water, "I'm sorry I worried you."
"It's alright," Dovewing spoke, kindly.
